What is a Food Service Manager?
A Food Service Manager certification assures that that person-in-charge has
sufficient food safety knowledge to protect the public from foodborne
illness. Individuals that successfully pass the 90-question, multiple-choice
exam will receive a ServSafe Manager Certification and wallet card.


How long is the class?
The class is typically 4 to 5 hours which includes breaks. Individuals receive
instructional training and after the class, an exam will be administered.
Individuals can take as much time as they need to complete the exam.


When is payment due?
For individuals, payment is due and time of registration. For group classes,
payment is due the day of the class.


When will I receive my test results?
Once you complete your exam, you can expect to receive your test results 2
to 3 weeks after you take the exam. If you are renewing, it is recommended
that you take the test at least 30 days prior to the expiration of your current
certificate.
